Default Foxwoods July 25-27 (Sun-Tues)

I will be at Foxwoods early next week playing 4-8, 6-12 or 10-20, and probably playing in whatever tournament is running then. Although I've played live in Vegas and AC, this will be my first trip to FW and any advice/comments regarding these games would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

They don't spread a 6/12. The spread 5/10 will a full Kill at $100, which is a lively game.

There is a limit tournament on Monday night and then the imfamous rebuy NL tournament on Tuesday night.

All the games are great and if you don't mind the craziness of a busy room, you experience should be good and profitable.

Peace,
Joe Tall

All the Hold'Em 5-10 games are, not certain for the stud and omaha.

Player quality wise, how bad is the jump from 4/8 to 5/10? And to hands tend to get looser or tighter when the kill is in effect?

The people are just as bad in the 5/10. You might be less likely to find a table full of entirely clueless people but you can certainly find a table full of mostly clueless people.

Yeah, I haven't seen a huge difference in talent between the $4/8 and $5/10 tables. (Sadly, this also means that my talent doesn't improve at the $5/10 tables, either.)

the only thing is that with the kill at $100, all you need is one maniac at the table, and you've pretty much got yourself into a $10/20 game, so bankroll accordingly.

I found that the quality of the 5/10 game can change a fair amount. The thing that sucks is that they play a must move format and you can end up getting moved from your juicy table.

Sunday with the retirees is a lot different from a Sat night with some of the sharks. In general seemed very good.

What's "must move"?
