Hey Gaming Club Guy -- Your Software Needs To Be Fixed
GC Guy -
I believe this has been discussed before, but the problem continues. When playing No Limit Holdem (and probably other games as well) if a short stacked player re-raises all-in with less than a full raise amount, your software reopens the action which is incorrect. Example: 1/2 NL Game Blinds are posted. 1 Limper to Button who raises $6 (Total Bet $8) SB re-raises $6 (Total Bet $14) BB folds Limper has $14 left and goes all-in, thus raising the bet $2 (Total Bet $16) Button calls $8 Betting should be closed here SB who should only be allowed to call the $2 now re-raises $20. While this flaw can be exploited by an intelligent player if he is so inclined, it violates the rules and should be corrected. SF |

Re: Hey Gaming Club Guy -- Your Software Needs To Be Fixed
We appreciate the pressure on this SwordFish. We've got the developers looking at it and although we don't have much information for you now, we will let you know once we have something more substantial.
Thanks again. |

Swordfish - You do understand how big of an advantage this can be, right?
I use it all the time. bet .10 less than a short-stacked player has, and you can raise when it comes back around to you (after he predictably goes all in) priceless. |

Re: Hey Gaming Club Guy -- Your Software Needs To Be Fixed
SwordFish, just an update on the all-in under raise issue.
The fix for this is currently in testing and will be in place with the next software release, although we don't have an exact ETA as to when it will be available. It will most likely be ready in the next few weeks. Thanks again for bringing this up. |
