How can a new player get free money without making any deposits?
I've been playing for years, and its been a long time since I bothered with small bonuses and freerolls. Now, a friend who's brand new to poker, has gotten into the play money games at Ultimatebet and Yahoo games. I'd like to help her get some real money experience, without investing any money, but find that I'm out of the loop.
Please, let us know of any offers that are out there. Thanks, Buckstop

Poker is just a game for god sakes what in the heck is wrong with playing it recreationally for no cash? Intercasino used to have a nightly freeroll but I believe they have stopped. Totalbet and Will Hill still have some. I am not an affiliate but I believe some affiliates will fund your account with a little money if you sign up through them. This is just an fyi, I hope this thread doesn't turn to spam. This doesn't directly answer your question but what I suggest and what I have done with others before is set up accounts at Intercasino and its skins. If you play the minimum to get the bonus you should be in decent shape. The only problem is the smallest games are 1-2. Here is a list of daily freerolls I saw elsewhere on this site. In response to the post nearly all the sites offer freeroll tourneys, poker room has a daily freeroll. You may also want to transfer some money to her for micro limits. I fly airplanes........do you?

If all you are doing is collecting the cards and showing down, that's dangerous. Your ego is writing play money checks your body can't cash. Let me tell you a little story. I am a marine "Top Gun" pilot. Well this guy, Mr. Scott comes onto our base and wants to make some creepy movie about us and our homo-erotic tendencies. Well, we needed some COMPETITION to make the movie "fly" (yuck, yuck). So, we pretended the Russians were still a viable threat and had some hokie pokie mock battle and all that stuff. It wasn't real arial combat, it was just a glorified pissin' contest. When you are locked and loaded with real missels and cannon shot, you will see some REAL tricky manuvers. If the other pilots know the whole thing is for show, its just not the same. You ever go to the dinner show at Excaliber? The one with the fake knight contests. Make that sh!t real and you're in for a show. As it is now, its all show and no go. That's what you got when you play "poker" for no money.
