Granny Mae (the hand not the player) ;-)
Flopped 2 pr As over 7s and called by 10-2 for him to river trip 10s (ewww) so next hand I got
Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] so it was the Grannie Mae time, so allin I went, start chanting Grannie Mae, and here's the board! K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Turn: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] River: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] And poof Grannie Mae rocks! |

Granny Mae is Q5s? If so, you are absolutely correct, she does rock.
Flopped a boat with Q5s at our no-limit home game last night, and on the turn, had someone bluff at the pot, someone raise the bluffer, and someone push with their ace-high flush that they made with the turn card. Nice payday, thanks Granny! |

Ah, thanks... well mine were clubs, so I guess I have to thank some yet-unknown imaginary person for that win instead!

Re: Granny Mae (the hand not the player) ;-)
I had somebody bet at me preflop with Granny. When I called his river bet with 77 on a AKJxx board he was rightfully upset.
