Default 2+2 Table - Slow down on the river or not?

I received a message asking if I had the HH, so here it is. I also had a question too so it should serve two purposes.

Critique my play and his I guess.

Did you have a read on UTG? Any idea what he would 3-bet with?

If you didn't have a read that said UTG would only 3-bet AA or KK, I like this play. Personally I think I would put them on AK or maybe another large A if it were some random person.

I agree -- I like the flop play but I think I might've just called the turn raise to see if MP1 would cap.

MP1 had 88.

I certainly did. And apparently my limp-reraising fooled no one, even when that flop came. Damn your set!!

Wait, so are you UTG or MP1? Either way, fold 88 on the flop.

I hate to do it, but I'm agreeing w/ Bakku.

That flop, combined with the action up until that point, just kicked your 88 squarely in the crotch.

Unless someone had AA or KK, you're all maniacs.

I would just like to note you guys are one of the worst limp-re-raise hand readers I've ever seen.

I limp re-raised at least 4 times in my first 30 minutes on that table and nobody caught on.
