Interesting Tourney format (Strategy Help?)

I am entering a tournament where there are two sessions. They each have 200 players and the top 25 people advance to the finals. Then the finals have 50 people and everyone restarts their chip count. I realize my survival should be a huge factor in the opening sessions, but are there any other strategic concepts I should consider?
