Default Missed river value bet?

MP2 in the hand is perceived as a bad player. He has shown done second and third best hands repeatedly. He chases draws a lot, which is what worried me in this hand.

edit to add: He was extremely passive, never raised from what I saw, even when he had a monster.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (8.40 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: (5.70 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 folds, MP2 calls.

River: (7.70 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 7.70 BB
Main Pot: 7.70 BB, between MP2 and Hero. > Pot won by Hero (7.70 BB).

Results in white below:
MP2 shows 3s 3h (one pair, threes).
Hero shows Kd Kh (one pair, kings).
Outcome: Hero wins 7.70 BB.

Then it's an easy bet. If he had an 8, you would have known by now.

Given hero's description of villain, this can not be assumed true. But, given hero's description of villain, a bet seems correct.

You bet a Jh but you check a 6c. Would he really only call with a flush/straight on the turn.

I think this is a river bet unless he is SUPER passive.

He really was super passive.. I never saw him raise even with great hands.

However, he is also really really bad.. which would call down with anything.

I think the bad outweighs the passiveness, and I missed a clear bet.
