I think 3-betting the flop is some serious spewing. If you think UTG is going for a free-card, just donkbet the turn.

I'm fairly aggressive myself, and I don't really like the flop 3bet.

I've never played 6 max online so I don't know how the typical opponent plays. So please take my advice with a grain of salt.

If there were no flush draw on this board, I would be tempted to fold the flop (getting 7-1), but that would be bad for meta-game considerations. So I would take a card off and fold the turn unimproved. This might be too cautious for 6-max, but it is a 4 way pot so I would not expect it to be that different.

Since villain could have a flush draw, I would be tempted to just call the raise on the flop, and lead out if a safe card falls. I would do this against a predictable opponent that I know would be very unlikely to raise that turn without at least a better Jack. So I could fold to a turn raise.

Against an unknown, I might just go in call down mode unless a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] falls. Then I would be tempted to fold.

Good 3-bet on the flop. With a better kicker I wait for the turn to C-R.
Check the river

3-bet on the flop looks good to me, since lots of people raised you with 2nd pair. I will play the turn the same way, however with this river I will c/c the river. If there is some sort of read available I will c/f it.

If this is early in the session I probably just fold the turn. If I've seen him get frisky with crap I probably just call down from the flop raise.

i think the 3-bet on the flop is OK because it's 6-max and players play aggressively. but it's pretty marginal. i don't think you lose much by calling the raise.

I'd check/call the river. no one with a worse hand is calling you. you might induce a bluff. and you don't want to be bluff raised out of the pot.
