free card? how many preflop 3bettors check this flop? VERY FEW hands.

Yeah, my hand reading skills suck. Didn't notice it was 3-bet PF.

I still think a 3-bet on the turn means hero's drawing to 2 outs nearly all the time.

And I stil think Jx bets out a lot here. Maybe villian is someone like me who didn't notice it was 3-bet PF...

Raise the turn - you're heads up after MP1's fold, in position, and have outs no matter what your opponent is holding. After raising the turn, I'm calling a 3-bet unless I have specific read that this guy would fastplay trip jacks or better. I forget the guy's name (maybe Prock?) who discussed it at some length, but I think this is a good spot to utilize the limit hold'em play known as "The Wall," where after raising the turn you will continue to bet when checked to, and call when raised or bet into. Aces up is too goot to fold in this spot.

Also, plz don't post results with the hand, if you must post them, wait for the discussion about the hand to be substantially finished first. I haven't read the results yet, but for many they color the dicsussion in an unproductive manner.

Thanks for all the replies. I knew I should have raised somewhere, but I wasn't sure where. I'm feeling like the turn would have been right.

I'd raise the flop.

I put UTG on a King. If he had a Jack, I'd expect him to checkraise you on the flop or call your expected bet because you were the pf raiser, and checkraise you on the turn.

Raise raise raise... You are probably ahead and need to defend your hand. Its pretty standard to lead most flops of these types regardless of cards.

So you would slowplay this to the river? No wonder you think Party is rigged.
