AA on a tough board
 

How's my line on each street? I think I just wimped out when the limper was the one that bet out. I thought I might raise the turn if I backdoored a flush draw but when the blank came I froze up.

MP1 is a TAG with 20/10/4, not really any read on MP1 except I'd seen him play a couple pretty passively. He was 44/3/1.6 over 30 hands.

how often do you think someone leads a J here? I think you can afford to raise somewhere.

If I'm fairly sure he won't lead a jack, I'd raise the turn. If I'm not sure, I'd raise the flop. Either way most of the time I'm seeing a showdown. I'm also raising. You see what I'm getting at, yes?

Raise the turn. He has a J here like never, and a K, or [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]'s like always.

Raise the turn here. You can fold to a 3-bet and you'll pick up an extra bet from Kx or a flush draw.

I can't see folding to a 3-bet without a good read.

i'm raising the turn, I just can't see a jack leading into you, this looks more like a draw or a king

I think you're underestimating how often Jx bets out on this flop. Risking a free card with a flush draw and lots of straight draws isn't a good move.

If you can't fold to a 3-bet, then I think playing it the way villian did (standard WA/WB) is fine.

I would raise and reraise the flop, then go into call down mode if UTG continues his aggression. The way you played it, it is hard to get any information from him.

also, you underestimate how much people like to slowplay.
