Re: Hand buddy said he \"played perfect\", I think it was all wrong

[ QUOTE ] Go easy on me I'm new - but you really missing a lot of value ? The way I see it the only hands you beat that will call are 7's and 9's - he can't have the other mid pairs because he would have trips. He is not going to call with a busted flush or straight or over cards. You will get raised by an A or straight, and called by a bigger pair. I guess I would rather gain some hand info with the check/call over the bet/fold - and I hate the bet/call line he took (of course). [/ QUOTE ] what about all hands that contain an 8 or 6 or 2, or 33 [/ QUOTE ] True - but I just don't think he had of those hands - if he had paired an 8,6,2 it probably has an Ace with it. (I probably should have not posted the river action...) Maybe that is one of MY big problems - It kills me to bet/fold a river with a decent pot. Maybe I'm losing a few BB's that I should be betting on the river. |

(I probably should have not posted the river action...) [/ QUOTE ] very good point. Its too easy for posters (myself included) to be swayed by the action that was posted. Try to do that next time. |
