Terrible preflop call.

Explain...

I'd want at least 4:1 to call before even thinking about this hand.

JTo regularly makes the second best hand, unless you land a monster flop its very difficult to play. With 3 opponents still to act, a raise would be disasterous.

The only way I'm playing this hand is in front of like 4-6 limpers, on the button, with passive blinds.

I think this is a pretty easy limp from the CO.

EDIT: If you're playing here with QTo and KTo, how different can this be?

Why not play T9o? I mean, its almost the same hand?

I fold QTo, limp KTo.

We have to draw the line preflop, and JTo is weak and you can't maximise your winnings anyway because you have to play it scared. Give me JTs and I raise it all day however.

Even in SSHE's Tight Games this is a preflop limp. There's no specific line you have to draw. If you can play it you can play it. I think this is a fairly good situation to play JTo actually. Playing JTo against a field of 6+ is when you're going to need to flop a monster to win, not here.

I'll limp T9o, JTo, QTo and KTo with two limpers. With only one limper, I may very well raise all four hands if the blinds and button are tight. However, I'm dumping all of them in EP and probably MP as well, but it depends. Not saying it's right, but something I've been doing as of late. I suspect I may be hitting my "LAG" phase. Well, I'm a 21/11 without limping those hands, I'd hate to think of what I'd might be with them in my preflop game

Sorry but I can't believe that. I am 18/8 and I do play it - but ONLY in CO or Button ...

You haven't lived till you've LAG'd it up in .50/1

I should clarify too, I play those hands, but only with more limpers.
