Title: One shot wonder?
Log: CardPlayer.com commentator Phil Hellmuth just put in perspective how large the prize pool is for this World Series of Poker final table. Phil said that during his entire poker career he has pocketed about $7 million in tournament poker winnings. The man who walks away from this final table will surpass his twenty plus years of tournament mastery with just one victory.

I wouldn't doubt that Hellmuth was "forgetting" to subtract the buy-ins.

He didn't say he won 8 million; he said he CASHED for 7-8 million.

Yeah, Phil took a real beating at the 2-7 TD tables. I don't know if his bankroll has yet to recover.

Ivey, Greenstein, Reese, Doyle and Todd Brunson. I would say all easily have over 10 million in career earnings.

I would venture to guess it's at least ten times that. Well at least for Greenstein, Reese and Doyle. Not sure about Todd and Ivey, but I've heard that Ivey plays outside of his bankroll.
