A PP has much better outs than 72o [/ QUOTE ] Yeah but you've got 6 outs to improve on the flop vs. only two with a pocket pair. Plus when the flop comes A 7 2 you stack AK every time because they have to be thinking "there is no way that guy calls a PFR with 72o" |

Re: switched from 55\'s to 400NL. questoin about 6max
nl400 is probably the highest stakes game where you can depend on people to not resteal enough. continuation bets are highly successful on most tables and my advice would be to open raise almost every time you're first in the pot with a hand you want to ply. only slow down if you're frequently getting caught. obviously, you should occassionally limp to mix it up and dont continuation bet 100% of the time.
cash games play very differently then sngs, so open up your game a lot. |

You also stack AK with 77 and 22 there, and AK is drawing MUCH slimmer in these cases, as well. Also.... what the hell are you doing calling a raise with 72o? |

And if you've got a low PP, if the flop gets any piece of your opponent you're typically behind. So if your CB gets called, you also might as well have any 2. [/ QUOTE ] Not necessarily, in many cases, you're up against a draw, and have the best hand. Such is not the case with 7 high. |

And it would be real nice if you also knew when you are up against a draw and when you are not.
