I posted this hand for a few reasons. The first, I hadn't posted a hand on here for a while, and this one was a pretty fun hand to play. As clear cut as a raise here is, it's not automatic. I don't think any play should be automatic, where there's not even a thought about what you're doing. If I know, with 85-90 certainty, that the button is going to raise if I call, and then I can 3-bet, I believe a call would be fine. Now, I wasn't that sure and raised. It wasn't really a tough decision. Button folded and the blinds called, and then check/called the river.
My thing is this, I've seen players who auto-bet or raise hands, and do it with the attitude tha by not doing it is full blown retarded or that they should retire from poker if they don't do this, and I've seen these players often time get their asses handed to them due to not actually thinking for a moment before they act.
