Hand 1: Three bet the flop, bet the turn, fold the river. Hand 2 looks OK.

[/ QUOTE ] what? fold the river? I think CO has a nine and made a boat on the river. But maybe the CO just bet the river nine because Hero checked the turn and river. Can't tell for sure what to do there. I think it would have been more clear if Hero had done some more betting earlier.

Villian could so have a busted flush draw or something like 1010 or even 88. I think folding the river is really bad.

Hand 1 - 3 bet the flop

Hand 2 - I would just lead the flop. I bet/call the river

grunch:

I don't like the first hand, but I think you played it fine except I'm pretty sure I fold that river. CO posted. He has a 5 or a 9.

2nd Hand, again I like except the river. Unless you really respect that turn raiser, I raise this river. I'm a maniac 6max player though.

Hand 1,

3-bet the flop. CO could push flush draw just like this.

Bet the turn. If you don't bet, the flush draw's raise for a free card worked perfectly on the flop.

The river I'll just call behind too. If he had any portion of the flop, he now has you beat. If he was on the draw, you have him beat. WA/WB, I just call.

Hand 2,

I like the lines to the river. I either bet-3-bet the river or C/R it. I'll pay extra to see the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or the completed house. But that's just me.

Consensus on hand 1 is to 3 bet the flop. I guess I was concerned about a passive player raising me here. They don't normally do that on draws or with a 9, mostly with two pair or a set. The passive nature of him made me think about 3-betting.

Hand 2, I was terribly concerned that with three players 3-betting preflop, there had to be the Ace of diamonds out there somewhere, but I could have MUBS.

Im a bit torn between a flop 3-bet/waiting and turn check raising.

3-betting has some trapping power, but I think more bets are achieved waiting for the turn. I guess I need to know how agro CO is, and how much the other guys fold. 3-betting isnt a bad line by default though.

By the way jaxup, this avatar is MUCH BETTER than the last one. I might add it to my favorites just to keep the avatar.
