Maybe it's another small site with little chance to reach critical mass and the forum has already adopted a sickly site with no real future.

Default Best online random card generator?

Isn't a random number generator by definition 'random'? Therefore, how could it be 'the best online'?

Actually there is no way to generate a truly random number with a computer, they are all strictly speaking "pseudo random." Some card shufflers can be better than others. There was the case of a site which had a random number generator which only would generate a certain subset of all possible hands (I can't remember the percentage exactly).

All random number generators should essentially be the same. I agree that it is true that there is no 'true random number generator'. However, for Poker players purposes there should be no difference in the top 10 random number generators.

greensmoke was just stating that the random number generator seems to produce the most realistic draws and cards. He probably doesn't have any proof of the actual randomness of the cards, but I agree with him. I also play at BigBetPoker.com and the promos they are running right now are insane. I suggest any player who wants free money and a very graphically nice and fair card room to check it out.

exactly thats all I was trying to state that some sites offer more realistic card shufflers as compared to some i have seen that produces ace on flop almost everytime. So yes I do think the card shuffler at bigbetpoker seems more fair. This is just in my thoughts only though so you could judge for yourself!

I definitely like to hear about new sites and the best promos out there...maybe excluding propoker. I believe greensmoke was just trying to be helpful too...its kind of funny to see beernutz bashing him as he is part of the ACR ad team . I mean greensmoke just likes the site the same way as you like ACR.

And about the random number generator...for practical purposes all random number generators should be indistinguisable...if your saying you can see statistical differences you are venturing into the territory of conspiracy theories.

Well perhaps I deserve that, even with the smiley attached. I honestly believe I try to paint a balanced picture of ACR and I can point you to many of my posts which have in them criticisms of the site. Apparently however that is not the way it comes across so in the future I'll try and restrain myself from posting about ACR at all. Unless I just can't help myself, of course.

Default beer... i\'m ok with it

I have no problem if you keep posting about good ACR promos...as long as you don't bash others who do the same.
