Re: what if.....
Whatever happened to the better losing hand taking a higher place?
I seem to recall playing in at least a few STTs where 3 of us were all in, and the order of finish was decided by who had the second best hand after the river. Maybe I just wasnt paying attention and it was starting stack size (2 short stacks getting busted by a big one, the shorter shortstack gets the lower place)... Anybody know for sure? |

Re: what if.....
This is completely worth blowing $6 to try in a SNG.
Worst case scenario: only 6 2+2ers make it into the SNG, we all go allin first hand with such holdings as 95o and 34s. then we stick around and listen to $6 SNG players tell us how awful we play, while we defen our hands (but they were sooooted....) |

[ QUOTE ] The 9 losers all tie for the 2nd/3rd prizes. In a $22, thats $60/9 + $40/9 = $11.11 per Also, it doesnt matter how the money gets in, be it push-> 9xcall or minraising back and forth. Rankings are determined by # of chips at start of hand , not who gets allin first. ANd yes, the PP software does calculate theis automatically. At least for two-way ties. Ive been tied shortstack when 4 handed, we both got in, we bot lose, and we both got a $20 prize from a $22 (half of 3rd place) [/ QUOTE ] Ignore this post and try it. [/ QUOTE ] lol, I'de do it |
