Protecting 2 pair, done well or even needed?
Neither the CO nor the button are anything but donks, Button less so. They're both loose-passive.
PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (4 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] . Hero bets, CO calls, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls. Flop: (6.50 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, Button raises, BB folds, Hero calls, CO calls. Turn: (6.25 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets, Hero raises, CO calls, Button calls. River: (10.25 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets, UTG raises, Button calls $0.50 (All-In), Hero calls. Final Pot: 13.37 BB I don't mind posting how I played it out as I don't think that's important. My question is should I be worried about protecting this two pair since there are no big draws out there? Should I get my raise in on the turn or let the CO call and raise the river if I'm sure that the button will raise the river? Of course, as I'm typing this, I'm thinking that the button's going to be all in on the river and CO might drop his hand to 2 bets on the river anyway. For the sake of argument, assume button is fully loaded. Thoughts? |
