Raise preflop. You should try to get position in these spots, and here you love the extra money in the pot. On the button, then limping is closer, though depending on the blinds, raising is a good option.

The flop is fine.

The turn bet is not good. You aren't getting anything to fold, and you're getting raised more than you think, either from behind, which shuts out all of your callers on your draw, or from in front, which isn't that bad, I suppose. However, you have zero bluff equity in this pot.

hi ess

well, the turn betout is fine if you think that there is some chance of getting the folds, but....it's more likely that the button raise if you bet than fold, so....it's a little bit too risky. two pair raising or reraising is too risky. i'm not sure but for that reason i think check-calling is better on the turn.

did this hand actually happen, ess? i'm tingley. did you make this up? oh, it's alright ess. 70% of these posts never happened but could plausibly happen. i don't know. this one gives me a fairy tale tingle. but i'm not saying anything, ess. i take your word for it.
