Any reason to think about a check-call line? [/ QUOTE ] If you are ahead you may get a loose call from an A who otherwises checks behind. If you are behind to a flush, you can fold to raise, as not many hands you beat raise here. Over all, leading out nets you more, and may keep you from calling a larger bet if you check it to him and he has the flush. Regards, Woodguy |

My take on it was the following. Could our villain make a raise to throw me off? Does this type of stuff happen? I for some reason, think it's more likely in these low buyin tourneys. So I thought that a value call is the best line here. But I see your point about a value bet being the best line. I'm just now getting used to laying down to reraises. Villain bet 4000 into me, and I called easily. I just thought it was a shrewd move on my part at the time, but I see otherwise now. |

Re: What\'s my river line?
I like betting 2000-2500 here. If you're raised, you can probably let it go, and if you're check-calling otherwise, it's the smallest amount you're likely to lose if you are beat.
