So here's your chance to try two Chicago staples; italian beef and deep dish without coming to Chi-town. Personally I recommend hot giardiniera on your italian beef.

Lou Malnati's is great, but if you really want to taste chicago pizza, you gotta get genos east.

As for portillos, pretty much every thing they make is the best.

I've had both many many many times and I prefer Malnati's, but its close.

Youse are making me homesick. I only get back to Chi-town once a year, but I alwasy bring a jar of giardiniera back to Jersey.

Why don't they offer the sausage patty option? I'm only seeing crumbled sausage.
