Default 99 under fire against a solid

Villain is pretty solid, TAG and probably views me as solid albeit a little loose, but he knows im not a donk.

Line seem a little much?

i don't think he's folding a J here, so I don't really like it much.

He could also have a flush draw or an under pair.

EDIT: He *could* fold a J. Because of the extra hands that he could have (besides a J), he doesn't have to fold a J very much to make raising correct, i think.

I don't like it. You don't want him to fold a 3, a 2, or a lower PP, and a J is rarely folding.

Edit: Actually, I changed my mind. I didn't see the flush draw, and I miscalculated the pot size. I like it a lot .

people love to say a j is rarely folding but if villian held t9 on the turn, and he posted the hand, everyone would tell him to bet/fold the turn.

if this guy knows you are solid it would seem retarded to check raise you with a flush draw so id have to give him at least a jack or a combo hand like JT of diamonds. i dont think this villain is going to fold here on the turn because he has a hand that could probably improve. if you want any chance of getting him off a better hand than yours its going to take a blankity blank river and another big bet yeah?

I dont see why it would be retarded to check-raise with a flushdraw here, explain ?
