Poker calendar babble
So I got a poker calendar for Christmas--you know one of those things that you tear off the page every day and there's some poker tid bit on each page.
The first page had the hand rankings. Above Royal flush it had: Five of a Kind (with a wild card). For some reason that really pissed me off. So today the page says: POKER WISDOM Always remember that in a poker game the average hand becomes far less valuable when a higher number of players are at the table. What the hell does that mean? It doesn't make any sense to me at all. What's an average hand and why the hell are you playing it to begin with? And so if a hand increases in value with more players does that mean its not an average hand? And what does it mean to get less valuabl, wins less often? wins less money? At the table? Does it matter whether thiy are in the pot or not? Stupid calendar. --Zetack Hopefully tommorow it just goes back to telling me stupid poker trivia. |
