Re: I\'m calling this down, even if it kills me!!!
I think your call was a poor one, probably should have gave it up on the turn. Would have been nice to 3 bet it PRF but it did add some deception in a way. I believe you were waiting for hands and when this hit you were caught up in its power and went with it. Sometimes a good hand against someone you think you have a decent read on can equal disaster cause you dont want to let it go and it begins to cloud your judgment.

You are right I forgot that one. I still think 3-betting is right though.

Re: I\'m calling this down, even if it kills me!!!
I dunno about anyone else but I almost never 3 bet the flop here in this situation,
As I said before, 3 betting the flop here is pretty much my default play, and in retrospect against this guy, it was what I should have done. You'll get raised and check-raised with so many things that you can beat here. BTW, my opponent had 8-7o and was pushing a busted straight draw, and MHIG. |

Re: I\'m calling this down, even if it kills me!!!
I don't think you can fold here. Straight draw, lower PP, or pair of 5's or 6's are all possible. Unlikely, but enough to warrant a 7:1 call.
