Sometimes you have to grit your teeth and sling your balls over your shoulder and push your chips into the center of the table. This is one of those times.

do you have to do all that at once though? i'm badly co-ordinated, so I'd grit my chips, throw my teeth over my shoulder and push my balls into the centre of the table, which i'm not sure would be counted as a valid bet.

But thats still a heck of a lot better than griting your balls.

Which one?

Seriously, I had no business calling the flop, and as soon as I did it I regretted it...until the turn . I called because the guy with AA sucked, and I read the raise as an isolation attempt.

I can honestly say I've never raised 72o preflop, even at a 2+2 table. You?

You've PFR'd 72o 15 times?! Wow! Now I'm back to being impressed.

Well I've only played a couple months and still at nickel games to boot, let alone 2/4.

But...

Since the original poster knew the outcome, it's kind a setup asking about folding after the flop knowing he would have lost.

Anyway, I'd say that a raise preflop would have been inorder. You were up against too many hands for that pair. Calling preflop left 66% of all comers limping in at that point, you're set up to be outdrawn. A preflop raise might have changed the face action that scared you off.

As far as folding trips after the flop, I'd need to see at least one more card incase of snagging a full house.
