Wow Ray, great looking chips. [/ QUOTE ] Thanks! [ QUOTE ] I personally think the purple chip looked a ton better with the white and orange edge spots. If you did that you would probably need to change the red to orange and yellow just to be different. [/ QUOTE ] ...and probably the yellow... [ QUOTE ] I think it looked better like this ![]() [/ QUOTE ] I actually did some better mockups of this style for the $5 - one with yellow/white, one with yellow/orange, but ran out of lunch time and had to come back to work before I could post it. [ QUOTE ] But if you could darken up the red it might be better [/ QUOTE ] They only have one "red" at T.R. King. |

I think red and light blue spots would look good on the $100. I think red looks good on black.

The latest: $.25 (non-denom) - Gray - Black/Red $1 - Dark Blue - Light Blue/White $5 - Red - Orange/White $25 - Dark Green - Pink/Light Green $100 - Black - Purple/Light Turquoise $500 - Purple - Lavender/Gray $1000 (non-denom) - Yellow - Purple/Orange ![]() Keep those comments coming! [/ QUOTE ] Excellent job SlowPlayRay and nice turn around for mock-ups! I'm not in the market but here are my thoughts... I really like the $1, $25, $500 & $1000 chip colors. I think the non-denom gray looks good but I'm just not crazy about grey... would probably prefer an orange, pink or another color besides grey... but they grey does look good. I think the $100 is only ok... not sure what to suggest here though a red as one might look good. The $5 might look better with yellow instead of the white. - Fins |

By the way, everyone check here (2nd post) for some great pics of some actual custom T.R. Kings; this should help us get a feel for what some of the colors really look like:
Hoefler's Custom T.R. Kings These are the chips that made me want T.R. Kings - I actually have a sample of his $1 chip. |

I like the dark blue/lt blue spots on the $5 chip here:

Okay, here are my current favorites for all the chips. The only one I am not sure if I like is the Yellow, but to be honest, I will probably only get a couple of these anyway, so if anyone wants different colors, let me know. But I think these chips look good together AS A SET:

They look great (not a potential purchaser, just an interested observer). The red, green, and black are especially cool. Like you, the only one that I'm uncomfortable with is the yellow. There must be more complimentary colours for the edge spots?
Have you decided to drop the denominations entirely then, or are you just leaving them off these mockups? Also: wouldn't it be sort of casino-authentic to have no edge spots at all on the grey 25c chip? As a non-buyer I have no right to throw in such suggestions, I know, but I'm curious as to what you chip-aesthetes think about this on principle. |
