Well, I was struck by your claim that there should be no taxation on income, which you said was your position "philosophically". And since you did not provide any qualifiers to that claim, I took it to mean that, for you, an ideal world would have zero income tax. So thanks for clarifying. I now understand that this is a question of How Much -- and not a flat out refusal to pay any income tax at all. BTW, your question "How much is too much" is too much for me right now. I dont know what Kurn would say, but I would say property taxes are even more unfair than income taxes, because you are taxed continuously over the same thing. Consumption taxes or user fee taxes are the fairest. Although this is not always easy to impliment, a gas tax for roads might be considered fair.
