Default Re: Value of SSH if already playing past small stakes?

HEFAP gives excellent advise for post-flop play against decent players (particularly if they are a little on the weak tight side). On the whole, I think SSH is a better book, but I would not agree at all that HEFAP is useless for mid-limit online games. The blind-stealing and blind-defending advice in the short-handed section is also quite useful.

I have found stuff from both quite applicable. If nothing else, thinking in terms of concepts and developing post-flop options.

As an aside I have completed 15,000 hands of 5/10 on Party and on other sites. From what I can see so far, these display alot of the same characteristics of the 3/6 and 2/4 games.

If somebody is thinking that they are "too tight", to me that means "I am staying at bad tables for too long.". Admittedly, I am moving tables a lot more than at the lower levels, but I have yet to have any trouble staying in decent to good games while three-tabling. I will say though, that it might be more difficult for a 8-12 tabler to find enough good games.
