What you missed was that UTG raised and 6 players called 2-bets and I was sure the BB was coming along. Bison was getting much less.

Yeah, the 1/3 structure changes this a lot.

I still doubt this call is -EV.

bison, your reasoning for not betting out on the river made some sense to me based on what you put them on but I betting out seems far superior given the circumstnaces.
if the field wasnt so laggy, and you thought you most likley wouldnt get any overcalls then checkraise would make sense. But seeing as how 2 of the players are named loosey and lag, and the only reasonable player left has been showing strength this whole time your most likely gonna get overcalls, and hopefully raised by a worse flush.

in a raised pot, I'd take T9s over QTs. your high cards have reverse implied odds. you're basically playing for straights and flushes. the only real advantage of QTs is a better two pair and stronger trips.

I may overvalue large suited hands, but you put to much emphasis on being dominated. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
