Normally I try just to lurk on these boards, but sometimes, well, sometimes a man's gotta be a man and step up and call someone out when they say something outrageous.

And saying "Vanilla Sky" is the worst movie you've seen in 10 years either means:

1) You have only seen ONE movie in ten years, so therefore, this is just a clever way of you saying that it's the best/worst/only movie you've seen.

2) You couldn't comprehend its brilliance, and, instead of simply saying, "Wow, I didn't understanding Vanilla Sky's brilliance" you attempted to write it off.

Boo! I say. Boo!

In short: both "Rounders" and "Vanilla Sky" are amazing films.

No, "Rounders" is not a "how to play Hold 'em like the pro's" movie, but neither are most of the DVDs / how-to-videos claiming just that.

It's a great movie, whether you enjoy poker or not, and has brought more people to the game (which, therefore, puts money into my pocket, not to mention some of yours) than anything prior to WPT.

So on THAT level, it's even a BETTER film.

How many movies actually MAKE you money?

"Rounders" is a great movie AND one that has made some of us more profitable.

Win-win in my book.
