[/ QUOTE ] The reason for check-raising the turn is to increase fold equity on the turn. Villains generally have an easier time getting away from missed overcard hands where they've been check-raised as opposed to hands where they've been donked. I would go ahead and lead regardless of the turn card (he can't have all of A, K, and Q, so one of them must be a safe card!). If he raises the turn I can call and check-fold the river comfortably (assuming I don't improve). |
