You should play NL if for no other reason than the fact that the more kinds of poker you are competent at, the better youwill be at whatever your main game is. If your main game is limit, becoming a good NL player will improve your limit game.

I think Grunch and Ghazban summed up my feelings on the matter appropriately. The only thing I would add is that frankly, the possibility of losing my stack on any given hand makes it much more exciting for me.
I will say that it really irks me that people are posting a lot of BS assumptions about NL (and to a lesser degree, limit) in this thread. |
