Re: 3-handed DS hand: fold QQ preflop?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Che obviously ran up against Aces or Kings [/ QUOTE ] you do realize that you're basically calling che an idiot, right? [/ QUOTE ] Che's not an idiot. It's just that people often post hands where they got busted out and it is obvious they had no choice to play as they did. I've done it myself, but not not this blatant. |

Re: 3-handed DS hand: fold QQ preflop?
Its all good. Im sure even pros do this. Sometimes you make what you think is the right move however it turns out to be wrong. So you think maybe you should of folded.

RESULTS
Sorry for the lengthy delay. I went out of town a few hours after posting this and didn't have internet access in Podunk, AR.
I folded QQ, probably for the first time ever short-handed. I don't know what the villain had since he didn't show and he hasn't responded to the PM I sent him (if it's really him, could be someone else with a similar name). I'm not going to give the name since I don't really know the guy. Anyway, I went on to win the table, but I wanted to post the hand as a sanity check. Based on the replies, I guess I am insane. Oh well... Thanks to all who replied (and a big *HA* to those who said I posted this to soothe my ego or whatever ), Che |

Re: 3-handed DS hand: fold QQ preflop?
I don't really mind the fold *that* much if he instapushed or you had some kind of tell (by default, though, it's a call and not close at all), but that's also why I wouldn't 3 bet it PF and play it very cautiously postflop (fortunately, you have position).
2+2'ers who make that kinda dumb reraise tend to want calls. |
