Re: PP 15/30- 200+BB downswing
[ QUOTE ]
I've done the math... my BB/100 is certainly down, but my BB/hr is up. [/ QUOTE ] Then you should learn to live with these downswings. Your standard deviation per hundred is roughly the same as you play more tables, but your win rate per hundred is lower. This means that you are going to experience large downswings (in terms of number of bets) more often. If the 200 BB swing is bothering you that much, then the advice to drop down to less tables may be right. |

I'm not complaining!
Granted my original post was not particularly useful for anyone else, but it doesn't seem like anyone read it. |

Re: PP 15/30- 200+BB downswing
[ QUOTE ]
i never really liked the whole "i'm not trying to get better, i just want to make more money" philosophy becuase if you do try to get better you WILL make more money. [/ QUOTE ] It reminds me of the students I used to have who were obsessed with getting good grades. They would ask how could they improve their grades and they were always asking if this or that was going to be on the test. It never occurred to them that if they actually learned and understood the material, they would get good grades. |
