My thoughts exactly. Don't nobody [censored] with my money and get away with it.

Screw security - the guy's gotta go outside sometime. I'd make sure I meet him.

I'm amazed by the "I'd have to be sure he took some chips" rationale.
Touching another persons chips is more than enough to warrant suspicion.
IMO, if you called floor over, you would have gotten $4 from the guy. What's he going to say? Whats his excuse for touching your chips in the first place?

We were having a pretty good time and getting along really well. We are quoting lines from poolhall junkes and rounders and stuff

shift to my right to grab a bite of my burger and as Im turning back to my left where this guy was he makes some kind of joke and grabs my $20 stack, then puts it back down. So I count it and its $4 short and I say, "wow I thought that i had $20 here."

[/ QUOTE ]

Obviously the way to handle this is with a couple of Rounders quotes-

"What's up with kiting my checks"?

If you need money so bad, you should go back to "rolling fags in the Village."

These two sentences are in direct conflict with each other.

"Just like a young man coming in for a quickie ... I feel so un syetisfied."

I just like to quote that one line when I take a bad beat. Guy to my left just ran with it. It also never hurts to play to someones interests at the table. It keeps things lighter and they dont mind as much when you take their money.

I was talking to the guy to my right about the Beatles. Same deal. We could be talking about anything and I would have a good time if I am winning.

It seems to me like touching someone else's chips would be a very noticable and improper thing to do. I can't imagine anyone doing this for a joke and actually thinking it is funny, but maybe you had to be there.

We were having a pretty good time and getting along really well. We are quoting lines from poolhall junkes and rounders and stuff and generally the atmosphere is good. So the seat on my left opens up and he switches to it.

[/ QUOTE ]

So a guy is friendly and talkative with you and goes out of his way to sit on your left.

That is worth an adjustment right there without the chip incident. I suspect if you didn't cool off and pay more attention because of the chip incident, he was ready to play you g00t.

Always be alert when somone moves to your left. They may just want to get away from someone where they were, see the board better, or they spotted a weakness in your game that they are looking to exploit. This is especially true of real friendly types that may just be getting you to let your guard down.

I am not paranoid, everyone really is out to get me
