Anywhere besides Stars and Party. Only those big sites have huge tournaments.
I play on Paradise and UB sometimes, which are fairly major sites, but there tournaments are not huge. Smaller sites probably have even smaller tournaments. If you play in a huge tournament, you have to have 6 hours available, but unless you make the final table, it probably won't take that long. |

I don't think the size of the MTT has a huge affect on its length. My experience you loose players at about the same percentage rate. |

[ QUOTE ] You start with 1500 and these are the blind levels you'll see in the first hour: 10/20, 15/30, 25/50, 50/100, 100/200. [/ QUOTE ] Do blinds go up every 12 minutes? I thought the structure was the same as Stars for the first hour, though I've only played a couple there. That's just plain silly. [/ QUOTE ] Silly to say the least. The whole structure is horrible. Blinds go up every 12 minutes. |

it has some effect... there are less chips in play which cause people to push with lower blinds then if there were more in play

Of course the number of players has an effect on the length. You lose about 50% by the end of the first hour. So when you start with 200 you have 100 at the end of hour 1 and around 40 at the end of hour 2 and generally are done in about 3-3 1/2 hours. This is my experience at Bodog. At UB I have played for 5 hours and didn't get to the final table. That really sucks!

i didn't read all the responses, so someone else may have mentioned it, but Pokerroom has $5 + .50 multi's that run roughly 100-350 people.
