Default Re: Bet the turn?

Looking at the river action also would indicate the villian probably does have the flush and was wanting the CR as he reraised. I'm thinking it's more like A2-5 or A8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] as I think A9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] deserves more of a bet on the flop due to the TPTK status even with the nut draw. AK-J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] may have received a raise PF so that counts them out (maybe).

Forget the river in this particular case - if the 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] fell instead and UTG came out betting Hero would have had to fold without a good read to suggest the contrary.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd much rather check the turn and call a small bet on a blank river, than bet and fold to a raise on the turn.

The river underbet after that flop and turn action reeks of 8s9s or 99. I would fold to the river bet.

You aren't seriously suggesting he fold 6s full here? I think it's correct to call but not raise that bet - Villian could have 99 or 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] but there are plenty of hands he beats. (nut flush for example)

Please tell me you are joking. If you are not, props for being an amazingly psychic poker player.
