Re: do I want to raise anywhere?
[ QUOTE ]
folds to a resistence if does not have a hand [/ QUOTE ] this means raising early is not an option. ill raise the river sometimes or ill just call sometimes. probably more of the latter. fuji |

Re: do I want to raise anywhere?
Doing anything much besides calling and checking (and folding) after a limp-reraise is out of line imo. This is provided that the pot isn't multiway. There just isn't a good reason to get crazy when he will have AA/KK so often. Anytime you hold Ax and get backraised HU, you should only be prepared to make some noise if you make trips out of your kicker.

Re: do I want to raise anywhere?
being a nit: can also go to war with a broadway straight specially on unpaired board.
I also agree a lot with all your other points 2 posts up in the thread and, though the 20-30% equity is the most important factor in this exact hand, for some reason I find the meta-game aspect pleasing: - We don't want to encourage him to do this again if he has a good hand. Piss him off by calling down with AQ when he has AA. Maybe it will get him to play more straight forward the next time. I just keep realizing how much more there is to learn about this game ... |
