Re: Did I over play this
there is really no good play if you know what he has. there are so many more hands he could play that way that don't have you beat than do. i think the only time you could fold here is if you had a solid read on the player. folding is weak... you're getting run off the best hand other than a flush for a minimum bet.

Re: Did I over play this
No offense, cris, but folding here would be insane. If you fold your leaving yourself very short in the tourney. I think it's very doubtfull that this player has flopped a flush with the mini-bet and if all he has is a flush draw, given your chip position, you should be happy to get the money in.
All he had was essencially a flush draw. I wouldn't have even thought about going all in on this flop. These are the pots you HAVE to play and win to get to the big money in tournaments. If you fold, your almost assured of finishing somewhere in the 18-10 range unless you get very lucky. These places almost always pay the same. If you win here, you have a real shot at the big money. This is a no brainer. Yah can't always get your money in as a huge favorite. Peace Goodie |

"It seems like no matter what he does here, his opponent is going to be correct"
True, but just because you can't make your opponent make a mistake doesn't mean you don't have a correct play. |
