That's a good point. I may have never misread a hand, even in true fatigue, but I never said I've never played like a schmuck.

I haven't ever done this, that I'm aware of, but then, I actually pick up my cards and look at them. I don't do the WPT super-pro corner-glimpse action. Maybe this led to your mistake? I can't imagine how you could mistake a pattern of eight dots for a picture of a queen...

I used to chuckle at people in the casinos who wore sunglasses but there is no question it helps in distinguishing suits of cards at the center of the table. If your eyesight isn't great I strongly suggest sunglasses even if you do look like a dork with them at the table.
