I'd definitely reraise the turn and force him to make a decision.

Id figure you have a lock on the hand on this turn. Him betting suddenly betting out re-assures me that he doesnt have the 8, there for AA is the only hand that beats you.
He can expect to make a check raise here, if he just hit quads hes not going to lead out.

Im putting a big raise on the turn, I think he has other pocket pair, mabey just the two if hes that much of a fish.
If hes one of the worste you've seen, he'd put his stack in here with 8s full of 2s.
