I was BB in this hand. Rizen was button and pushed. SB (Equityhog) called. I pushed with TT. SB folded ?! Rizen won hand with 2 pair (bad beat).

This was a very strange hand. I was very suprised at everything that happened. I have no idea why SB folded and am not going to try to figure out his thinking.

I thought the push was pretty bad. I know some people believe in pushing with any two, but that was an awful hand. Rizen was short enough stacked that he didn't have much folding equity, so I think he needed a reasonable hand. The position was good.

However, he picked the worst possible blinds to steal from. He had about a 20% chance of stealing the blinds. The LAG table leader is the SB could afford to make a pot odds call gamble and make a point of defending his blinds. If the SB had folded, I was getting 3-2 pot odds, so I would probably have called with about 60% of my hands. It may not have been obvious that I would defend, but it should have been obvious that the chip leader would.

This worked out well for Rizen, who finished 6th. Equityhog finished 11th and I finished 42nd.
