Putting Bagwell and Biggio in the HOF is like pouring water into whiskey.

They deserve to be in the HOF far more than you deserve to have a keyboard.

I don't disagree that there are others worse. I just feel like the HOF has been watered down enough. I think it would be better if just a handful of players made it each generation. I think Bagwell and Biggio should be considered marginal at best.

Do yourself a favor and go compare Bagwell's career numbers with those of MICKY FREAKIN MANTLE. You'll find that Mantle beats him in HR's but Baggy wins in SB's. All else is very very similar.

If Bagwell was in pinstripes he'd be "Legendary".

Biggio is even moreso a HOFer. 400 SB's, 600 2B's, 250 HR's, will get 3,000 Hits, some gold gloves, played several positions, and overall was a great ambassador for the game. He's "Mr. Baseball" in Houston, and will not be replaced for a long long time.

I think putting Robby Alomar in would "water down" the HOF. Here is a guy with similar numbers to Biggio yet quit the game too early...maybe he has a guilty conscience about SPITTING IN THE FACE OF AN UMPIRE LIKE A LITTLE SPOILED BRAT. Alomar does NOT belong, but probably will make it.

I would bet everything I have and everything I'll make in the next 10 years that John Garland doesn't make the HOF.
This might be a small exaggeration, but you have to be kidding me mentioning John Garland.

2003 marlins (irod might get some consideration, maybe cabrerra some time down the road) and 2002 angels both didn't have any obvious future hall of famers

2002- Angels - KRod? If he keeps this up he could make the HOF

2003 Marlins - Pudge lock,
Down the road Cabrera, Beckett, D-Train
