I like the part where you say you "picked up" 5s2s. That just seems so funny to me. Reminds me of a Joey Bitch post.

Of course you call. All your draws are pretty well hidden.

[/ QUOTE ]
only well hidden draw is the 4

[/ QUOTE ]
The 4 is super well hidden but I think the bd flush is pretty well hidden as well.

I would raise to 800-900 on the turn. LAG is the only way hu and a raise force him to fold a lot of hands + you have a good draw. If he calls and you hit, you get the rest of his chips on the river. Ofcourse you play the same way when you really do have a hand.

It's a backdoor flush. That's why I think its pretty well hidden..

I actually agree with zeebo to some extent. This is not a board that if hero has a strong hand on he's gonna just smooth call here. I think hero's call on the turn looks a lot like a 12 out draw, maybe KJ/QJ/KT/QT/J9/T9 of spades. The offsuit 4 is a great out though. Two pair is bumping it up big, TJ is bumping it up big, maaaybe AT/AJ just calls.

Well to make things clear, it's ONLY hidden to absolute idiots. Backdoor flushes aren't backdoor flushes period. Let's say there are 4 to the flop on rainbow board and it gets checked around. Turn brings two hearts, someone pots it, and somebody else calls...there's a good shot that someone has a flush draw, it doesn't matter that it's backdoor. Do you follow that? You have to look at the obvious action.

Now look at this hand: He bet the flop, which he does nearly 100% of the time he just said. That means he has any 2, right? Turn brings a 2 flush and our hero calls a pot bet. If I was villain I'd put flush draw high on my list of hands he could've had, most likely flush draw + gut (+maybe pair, something like QTs), either that or some sort of AJ hand (maybe AQ)

i agree with what zeebo says here, far too often people over value their "hidden ness" of a runner runner flush when the action indicates an opponent hitting one is logical

I guess I should add just because it's not entirely hidden, doesn't mean you won't get paid off if it hits (though you might not get paid off); some people pay off flush draws nearly every time if they have a medium strength hand.

I'm just saying you shouldn't expect a ton of EXTRA $ thinking it is hidden or MUCH greater likelihood of getting paid off (b/c it is NOT hidden).
