Re: Raise, call, or fold this flop?
I would raise to try and drive out the button. Yes your outs are tainted but BB could have a wide variety of hands including a complete draw and by getting rid of button who peel for overcards and bet the turn if it gets checked, I want that guy gone.
Check the turn unimproved and raise the river when a 9 falls. |

Re: Raise, call, or fold this flop?
Semi-Bluff Raise. Try to knock out the Button possibly buying outs for your overcards. Knock him out and it becomes a Free Card Play too.
However, you may be up against two pair, a set, or a made straight, so reevaluate if you get three bet. |

gutshot and potential overcard, getting 7.5:1 without much threat of a button raise, i can't see why that's not a peel. sure the board is scary but if the button doesn't raise the flop a king is likely good enough, and obviously a 9 has a good chance of making us the best hand. if the turn isn't a k or 9 get out; i don't think you're getting yourself into too much trouble getting involved on such a coordinated flop. Raise. I can't find a fold with overcards and the gutshot, and I don't like calling when you can likely take a free card when the button folds. I think the button would fold enough to warrant the risk for a free card.
