Opponents slightly too loose. Not way out of line though.

Where do we go from here? /v

God we are in such a perfect spot to just call, see the turn card, check and see how the other players react to MP. Depending on all those thinigs we may fold, call or raise.

Doing anything besides calling and checking any turn card is awful.

What about calling and betting out a safe turn card? /v

Ok, say we call, the turn is a 2 of horseshoes, we bet, the MP player raises and everyone else folds leaving it heads up. What's your plan now? Call down? ugh. We have to but we don't really like our hand, have no real leverage to prevent MP from taking a free showdown and have driven out other people who might pad our equity. I don't think MP is making a free card play here, I don't think there's much danger of the turn getting checked around, so why not see how people react to MP before making our decision?

"we bet, the MP player raises and everyone else folds leaving it heads up."

I'm confused, because this is exactly what I want to happen on the turn.

Seems like a calldown to me, QJ in here is very possible but Button calling cold means he probably has an OESD or a made straight, you might be beat or your opponent might have enough combined outs to kick your butt but they also might not.

[/ QUOTE ]

Given the preflop and flop action, hero is ahead a huge amount of the time here and shouldn't worry so much about the possibility of QJ or J7. He should worry more about killing/charging out the draws and playing aggressively to try and increase his chances of winning this large pot.

I'll man up, that wasn't the smartest thing I've ever said, but If MP raises the turn again, I think we're a dog to have the best hand. So if he raises then we're heads up against a hand range I think we're behind, and if he calls we may be ahead of MP but not have driven anyone out.
