I think another question to ask is what percent of your total liquid assets is your poker bankroll? Some may have a 1200 BB bankroll, but if that's over 50% of all you have, I'd say that's still pretty liberal.

I personally have no bankroll. I play with money I can afford to lose, cash out or move up levels with no real method to the madness. I feel that I limit the amount I have invested in poker to the point where I am conservative, but would seem to be liberal by the standards of the poll.

Doh! I heard the saying in 7th grade, and Googled for it. When I found one I just did a cut and paste. Anyway, someone said it, and I think it goes well in this thread.

The lesson here is don't believe everything u read on the Internet. I agree the quote is appropriate here, but being anally retentive by nature, I had to correct the error.

To get this thread back on track, I was a conservative when my bankroll was small, but have started exhibited liberal traits as it has gotten larger.

sometimes the new players will start off tight and slowly work up.

Yep. It's a personality thing I think. Less of a desire for quick money and more of a desire to beat the game before I die.... preferrably for more than 1BB/Lifetime.
