CHECK!! There is too many things you could be losing to... a check here is a fine play and nothing wrong with a check.

Could be... but the other players are certainly in there with something! I am most concerned about the BB showing down his flush after he raises us here. Just my thoughts!

I think you should bet. Sometimes you will lose to AK, but more often you will get called by a worse hand.

Thanks for the replies. These river situations where you're simultaneously value betting one opponent and bluffing another are always a bit surreal (especially when you're not sure which opponent is which).
After consideration, I agree with betting. The flush card on the end, while it might have hit BB, also could give me added fold equity against AK/AJ. If he put me on a possible KhJh, then that's there now. The thing is, they'd expect me to take the free showdown with AT. So if I'm still betting into two opponents on the river, what can AK realistically beat? As it happened, I did check. SB showed JJ, BB with A5. I probably would have gotten a call from one of them. This is one of those razor thin value situations that always impresses me when I see other players make it, but which I'm usually too timid to pull off myself. |

Hmm.. strange, I must be the only one who thinks that this is a very easy bet.

Nope. It is an easy bet.

This is one value bet that I don't have the stones to make. I check this river. But since I am in the minority, I guess I am probably missing some value.
What is the SB 3-betting preflop, leading, and then from all appearances calling you down all the way with? I can't see him calling you down on this board with JJ. The only hand he could have that you are ahead of is KK, which he also probably wouldn't call a turn bet with. Any other hand he could have is beating you, such as AK or AJ. He's not folding the river with that, so you have to be praying he has precisely KK. And the BB could definitely have been on a flush draw or a slow-played Q, especially since you say he often goes for river checkraises. I'd check and see if your hand holds up, which I suspect it didn't. |

Wow...SB sucks if he called a turn bet with JJ. Guess my post was wrong, but you didn't tell me the SB was a complete fish. Hehe...
