By the way folks, not to distract from the flaming of me, how much of a mistake do you think not betting this river is, in terms of big bets?

Wow, I don't post much on HUSH, and I see why. I think some of y'all are a bit touchy. Don't take things so seriously.

I think surf's original reply treated me rather noob, which amused me. I was just pointing out that I'm not necessarily as new as you might presume...just because I haven't hardly posted in hush in years and I post results in white.

Surf's first response wasn't treating you noobishly at all. It was just advice, plain and simple, and you got kinda pissy in response to it.

i didnt read the results or any responses. not gettin cred on the turn means you are likely ahead. go ahead and bet the river bc this curious loose passive moron is gonna call you with aj or aq or ax even. value bets bc you know that a-high will call your are so phat.

I apologize to you and Surf if you felt that way. I was mostly amused.

Close to 1. Also I would have checked the turn in this hand with the intention of calling 1 bet on the river or betting if checked to.

Actually, this is my second name. I originally began reading and posting on 2+2 around July 2002, and this forum substantially after that. If I recall correctly, since then the forums moved and everyone had to reregister, which is why Ed Miller was the first registered poster.

I don't know why I'm bothering telling you this.

That's interesting. I'm not sure it's so high. There's got to be sometimes where he's ahead and just calls, but wins. Then there's all the times he doesn't call, and that's the main reason I don't think it's quite as high as a 1BB mistake. Then there are times when he CRs and I fold the winning hand or call while losing. obviously sometimes he'll CR and i'll win.

My guess is that this is about a .5-.6 BB mistake. And that's actually why I posted this, because I was curious what people thought. Plus to berate myself for not betting -- I handle limp reraisers very, very poorly and I know it.
